Hydrogen Grand Prix 2025

CQP sponsored the Biloela State School team, Hydragons, to compete in the Hydrogen Grand Prix (H2GP) held in Gladstone on 9 May 2025. The Hydrogen Grand Prix is the largest hydrogen competition in the world. This year twenty-one teams of high school students from Central Queensland designed, engineered, built and raced their own hydrogen-powered cars. The race component was four continuous hours.

CQP also attended the event and spoke with high school students from the region about renewable energy including the proposed Wooderson Solar Farm.
