EPBC Referral Decision: Not a Controlled Action

Wooderson Solar Farm has received its Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC) referral determination from the Australian Government Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. This marks a key step in progressing new renewable energy opportunities for Central Queensland.

The project has been confirmed as Not a Controlled Action, meaning it can continue without further federal assessment. This reflects the project’s strong consideration of environmental and social matters in the project’s design and commitment to responsible development.

Central Queensland Power will continue working with landholders, industry and the community as we progress through the State approvals process.
